ABOUT THE HOCKEY CENTRE
The hockey pitches will be installed between July and September 2011, with the surrounding structures set to be built between January and March 2012. The venue will then be ready for the test event in May 2012.
DURING THE GAMES
The Hockey Centre will have two pitches, one with spectator seating and one for use as a warm-up area. As well as the Olympic Hockey competition, the facility will host Paralympic 5-a-side and 7-a-side Football.
AFTER THE GAMES
After the Games the Hockey Centre will move to the north of the Olympic Park, joining a group of facilities in the area known as Eton Manor. It will have 3,000 permanent seats with the ability to increase to up to 15,000 for major events.
